Early release to meet big demand for Brimbank Gardens
National property group, Peet Limited, has brought forward its release of 43 homesites at Brimbank Gardens to meet a surge in demand.
"Federal and State government incentives for first home buyers, combined with recent Reserve Bank moves to cut interest rates and State Government stamp duty relief, has seen a marked increase in demand for affordable land," said Peet Limited Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Brendan Gore.
"First home buyers in metropolitan Victoria can access a total of $26,000 support making land more affordable for a critical segment of the market," he added.
The release of 43 lots on Saturday 29 November is the fourth release in just three months at Peet's popular Brimbank Gardens, located approximately 17 kilometres west of the Melbourne CBD.
The lots in Stage 32B range in size from 320sqm to 672sqm and are priced from $110,000 for cottage lots, through to $165,000 for the larger, family sized lots. Peet expects good demand for the latest release after receiving consistently strong interest in the well-located estate over the past six weeks.
"The estate attracts a range of buyers looking for affordable homesites that are within easy access of the city but offer a sense of community and room to move as well," said Mr Gore.
More than 1,000 residents have already moved into Brimbank Gardens and are enjoying the idyllic Melbourne lifestyle on offer at the estate, close to thriving city-life and with the benefit of plenty of open space family-fun and a range of recreational activities.
Brimbank Gardens' parklands have been designed with a range of community facilities including public space for picnics, barbecue facilities, playground areas and granite walking tracks.
Further landscaping works are scheduled to begin in February 2009 so families, couples and singles alike will be enjoying these additional features in the near future.
Meanwhile, the opening of the $331 million Deer Park By-Pass, scheduled for mid-2009, will make it even easier to access the Princes Highway from the estate, reducing commuting time to the Melbourne CBD by approximately 15 minutes.
Public transport is also close by with buses travelling through Brimbank Gardens to the nearby Sunshine Train Station.
There's also easy access to local shopping, with Brimbank Gardens positioned between the region's two major shopping complexes – Sunshine Marketplace and Brimbank Shopping Centre.
